A painfully common object from the UK. So standard it was spotted in a Michael Craig-Martin painting at the National Gallery. It is everywhere, purely ubiquitous although no self-respecting person in the landscape would ever admit to such. Galvanized metal with a ringer making it a partner to a string muppet mop. As Brit as Brit can be, this thing should be enshrined. Works well too.
