A plastic dustpan incredibly similar to the one that has been in use at a London friend's for ages. She has got the wisdom so I figured it was something good. The mystery solved in one word: enclosed. A pan with sides is a pan with pride. I hate it when one is on the move, lifts a dustpan too quickly and everything that has been carefully swept in has suddenly blown out into the room and back onto the floor to god only knows where. Why so many colors? Because I could not choose. Added bonus is a brush tucks neatly inside for safe storage.
