Boing Boing Boing...yo-yo balloons are simple fun; tie the string to one finger and bounce it off your hand. The weight of the water inside propels it back and forth. Popular in Japan during the Summer Matsuri festivals, the balloons are often won in a game (Yo-yo Tsuri) where they are set floating in a tub of water and players "fish" the balloons out. We came across these at the annual Strawberry Festival in Floral City, FL. I have never thought Florida and Japan would share something in common. Yo-yo - there you have it! Will last for about 2 weeks as the water will start evaporating. Best to store out of the sun!
